Lack of access to quality education is a significant challenge facing Northern Kenya. Our NGO, Pastoralist Alliance for Resilience and Adaptation in Northern Rangelands (PARAN), is working to improve education in the region. We provide funding for school infrastructure and teacher training, and we also work with local communities to raise awareness about the importance of education. In addition, we are working to improve access to educational materials by providing books and other resources to schools in the region. We believe that education is essential for empowering pastoralists and helping them adapt to a changing environment. By improving access to quality education, we hope to create a brighter future for pastoralists in Northern Kenya.
