Health is a major concern in northern Kenya, where many pastoralist communities live. These communities are often remote and have limited access to healthcare facilities and services. This can lead to high rates of preventable diseases and health conditions, as well as increased mortality rates. Our NGO, Pastoralist Alliance for Resilience and Adaptation in Northern Rangelands (PARAN), is working to improve health in these communities. We provide training on hygiene and sanitation, as well as access to clean water. We also work with local health providers to ensure that communities have access to quality care. In addition, we are raising awareness about the importance of preventive measures, such as vaccinations. By working together, we can improve health in northern Kenya and help build a more resilient future for these communities.
